Hello, you lovely people! This week I have been extra busy with all the arrangements for my trip to Scotland (tomorrow!!). Therefore, I decided to keep it cool and share with you a second set of free printable bookmarks. This time I bring you the adventure book edition.
I took inspiration from Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and, my personal favourite: Peter Pan. I made these on my previous job, because the students wanted illustrated bookmarks with a bit of an epic twist. They took an online survey and these were the three more voted title.
The styles are very different among them. Peter Pan is more cartoonish, while Lord of The Rings has this ancient, art nouveau vibe and Mockingjay plays with a bit of a more minimalist style.
It was really fun to experiment with different styles and themes. As you can see in many posts on my blog, I love books, so being able to create something inspired on them is just magical. Besides, re-imagining characters is just my thing when it comes to drawing.
